Everybody always talks about them who can’t survive cancer. I mean, yes, it is unbearably tragic and sad, we should all spread tears and prayers for them, but what about the applauses and happiness we should share for those who survived? Nobody should forget about them who have been through a long and tough battle with something uncontrollable. Especially when it comes to the kids. Surviving cancer means being a hero nowadays. Survivors are heroes for themselves, their families and most importantly for other people, going through the same thing. Inspiration is the key to a healthy and happy life.
After all, when you look at 3 years old, standing still after a deadly fight, you think, if this little angel found strength in their soul to never give up, then I can find it too. One photo posted on reddit.com was powerful and inspirational for lots of people.
Parent of a young boy posts a picture, where the kid is standing, tired, exhausted, but still the winner. With red paint on his belly, it is written: “I won. ” Young man officially hit the cancer survivor milestone.
It appears that cancer survival rate increases every year, which is a good sign, but even though survival rates is about 83% now, still more than 600 thousand people died of cancer in the U.S. in 2019. Can you imagine the numbers 30 years ago? Having cancer 30 years ago would have been a death penalty. One woman shares his son’ s story in the comments: “When my son was 3 he had 2 months to live. Official Diagnosis was A.L.L., in 99.9% of cases was fatal. He joined a trial almost immediately, one of 12 children in the entire world for a breakthrough treatment which was banned in the US.
He will be 31 years old this November. Keep your chins up over there and always be hopeful and ask plenty of questions and I am glad your son is in remission. ” Lots of people started telling their or their loved one’s stories. After posting the picture huge positivity is going towards this little man. The photo itself is amazing. People started talking about how gracefully he stands, how proud and strong he is. When you look at him you think that he just stepped out from a huge explosion, from a killer battle and he is declaring victory. This image inspired one artist to create a whole new picture. With the help of photoshop, now the boy is standing in front of a fire, where cars and different things are exploding.
Looking through the comments is really heartbreaking. There are thousands of stories about little boys and girls fighting against killer sicknesses. “My 4-year-old son is 2 years into remission from neuroblastoma, ” “My 9-year-old son has been battling and beating leukemia for the last 9 months, ” and etc. Good thing is that parents are positive as well as doctors. They are highly convinced that their children are strong enough to beat up this blackness in their lives and make cancer only the memory for them. We all pray for them and wish them all the best.
